Our firm, together with Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP, represented the special committee of McMoRan Exploration in expedited litigation challenging McMoRan Copper & Gold’s $2.1 billion acquisition of McMoRan Exploration.  The transaction successfully closed in June 2013 following settlement.
